Vill House was a full-scale renovation that started from an empty shell. We completely demolished the interior of this home in Barcelona’s Eixample to rebuild it based on comfort and precision.
New partition walls were created with special attention to acoustic insulation, incorporating technical layers along the adjoining party walls. One wall was designed with a curved shape, facilitating carpentry work and adding softness to the spatial flow.

All installations were redistributed using new false ceilings, with junction boxes hidden inside cabinets to free the walls from technical elements. The floors were leveled to receive glued natural parquet planks, while the bathrooms were fitted with small-format ceramic tiles, placed with particular care due to their compact dimensions.
The blinds were mechanized, the living room gallery was redesigned with a custom-made window wall, and a discreet machine room was installed to house the new boiler and water softener equipment, without compromising the visual purity of the space.
A project without major technical challenges, yet executed with rigor and care, in close collaboration with Somos Nido.
